Don't worry it is very easy and safe... Take the cruise ship tender to the Tourism Village. Usually pre-arranged tours with the cruise ship get to leave the ship first, then it is open tendor. After you reach the village, exit the Belize Tourism Village and turn left walk towards the Swing Bridge to the Belize City Marine Terminal - Caye Caulker Water Taxi. if you walk over the swing bridge you have gone to far. It should take you no more than 10 minutes to walk. There is plenty of friendly hustlers along the way. The water taxis depart at 8am, 9am and 10:30am. Here is the website of the Caye Caulker Water Taxi, please check it out www.cayecaulkerwatertaxi.com returning boats depart Caye Caulker at 1:30pm, 3pm and 4pm and 5pm Fri-Sun & Holidays. Price is 15.00USD return. The water taxi can take minimum 45 minutes each way. Cruise through mangroves and pass islands of Belize. St. Georges Caye, Long Caye, Caye Chapel. You will travel with locals of Caye Caulker and San Pedro. Once in Caye Caulker, we will meet you at the dock in Caye Caulker, if we know for sure you are coming, you can call us from the marine terminal, our local number is 226-0462 or call my cellular 621-0529. We have a nice lil beach area, hammocks, chairs, lots of coconut trees for shade. At our office, we have bathroom and changing facilities. A hose to rinse off and a small gift shop, in case you forget your underwater camera. Once here, we will suit you up with snorkeling equipment and we are ready to enjoy the Caye Caulker Marine Reserve. After your snorkeling experience you can enjoy our beach area and facilities or take a leisurely 15 minute stroll through the village. Shops and Restaurants to pass by and island life.
