The airlines that service Belize from the USA and Canada are Continental, Taca, and American Airlines There may be a few more, please check with your local travel agent. There is also other airlines that service Guatemala City and Cancun, Mexico. Please check with your travel agent or the internet. Currently there is no flights from Cancun to Belize City. The only way to get from there is by bus to Chetumal, Mexico. How to get from Chetumal to Belize. Please check out our friends If you are coming from Guatemala consider flying on Tropic Air or Maya Island Air There is buses from Guatemala City and Flores, Guatemala. Belize International Airport arrival info. After customs, make your way outside, we offer a meet and greet service for $40USD per person, this price includes taxi service, water taxi service and golf cart service to our place. We also offer meet and greet service with Tropic Air. The price is $60USD per person one way and this includes arrival flight and golf cart taxi to our place from the airstrip. PACKING IDEAS Here is some extra hints just in case you didn't think about bringing them. You can get almost everything here at the local stores. Extra Film & batteries, flashlight, disposable waterproof camera, binoculars. Light rain jacket or vest. Just in case you are caught in the rain. All water taxi boats, either have a cover or plastic tarps in case of rain. Fleece jacket or pullover or wind breaker. Something to keep the chill off, just in case there is a breeze at night or while you are on the boat. Foot wear: thongs, aqua shoes or beach shoes & 1 good pair of walking type shoes. In case you are planning on doing any adventure or Maya tours. Sarong. Beach wrap or similar. Good for lying on the beach. These things have so many uses. Hat or Hats Snorkeling Equipment: If you have it bring it, if you don't we rent it for only $10BZ a day for the full set. Mask Snorkel and Fins Toiletries: First-aid kit, tampons, bug repellent, suntan lotion, imodium. travel sickness pills (good for those waves). Money: USD Cash, Traveler's Checks, Credit Card. Bring your credit card to have as an emergency. The local bank has an ATM machine, you can make withdraw but please have a pin number. Many stores accept Visa/Master Card, but charge 4% service fee. Mostly everyone will take US cash or Traveler's Checks and exchange to Belizean dollars at $2BZ to $1US and no fee. We can exchange at Tsunami Tours for you, no fee. Make sure you carry your valuables securely. Use a money belt and bring along a waterproof bag. Never leave your valuables in your hotel room. The local bank provides security pouches.
